You already did11111
You guys went ape when Rasho became a Spur , then he had a few bad games, and you wanted to trade him for Vinny DeNegro, Spur fans are known for thier back stabbing, Flipp Flopping ways,
Let's face it! It's just a matter of time till Finley has a bad game and 90% of you in here will want to trade him, So why not have a V Bookie on who, or how long it will take before the first "let's trade Finley now!' topic will show it's ugly face?
You already did11111
Finley isn't going to be a start and will just be another cheap role player. It will be a lot easier to tolerate a few bad games from him than it was from Rasho.
I'd think that when you are a starter on a Championship caliber team and/or make more than $5M a year, then it's cool if fans about you.
Finley will have to produce, or it's off the playoff roster and no championship
If that was the case? then why all the hype? Why is everyone making a big deal about this move? face it , spur fans want Finley with the ball in his hands when there is only 6 sconds left on the clock, and when he tosses up that 20 foot jumper and it bounces off the rim? There will be more "lets get rid of Finley now!" topics than there are Mexicans working at Toyota,
So now spur fans a re finicky too? what's wrong with just supporting a player till the end? And I am sure if I dig deep enough in the pages I will find many "let's trade Marks" and Beano Topics also.It will be a lot easier to tolerate a few bad games from him than it was from Rasho.

Then why didn't anyone want Tim Duncan traded after his meltdowns?
I don't know. To me, getting Finley is just gravy. The Spurs were already in great shape. If that was the case? then why all the hype? Why is everyone making a big deal about this move?
I think you need to check some of WaltonBuysOffMe's posts after Tim had his bad nightsThen why didn't anyone want Tim Duncan traded after his meltdowns?![]()
Well, actually is probably more like....
face it, spur fans want ___________ with the ball in his hands when there is only 6 seconds left on the clock.
Please select and complete the above sentence with your open choice:
Tim Duncan
Manu Ginobili
Robert Horry
Nick Van Exel
Michael Finley
Tony Parker
I would just put Tim,Manu,Horry,Van Exel, and Finley on the floor in the last 6 seconds (I am salivating)and that would be the MOST CLUTCH 5 in the NBA bar none!
In 90% of the games, with 6 seconds left, most of those players will be on the bench basking in another double digit victory.
agreed.
Spurs in the 1st half of the season 04-05 were beating almost everyone by double digits. After the All-star break in the Rodeo trip they kind of fell.
This coming season the Spurs machine will be going AWD all year!
Thank you for clearing that up![]()
This is a very prophetic topic. Because it will happen. And sorry Kori, but it doesn't matter the money, age, or contract length. If a guy(who was a FA pickup) is struggling, people in this forum will not hesitate to play the "lets make a trade" game. It is actually kind of sad. It will be no different with Finley. Horry, Barry, Nesterovic all went through it and now Van Exel and Finley will see the same treatment.
^ Rack him!

THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE, FINLEY WILL MAKE 1/3 OF THE MONEY RASHO DOES!!
Then why not get upset with the dumb ass that offered that money?
Oh wait !.......I forgot I am talking to bias Spur fans, Peter Holt can not do wrong.
Mouse why dont you step up and call out those of us you think will start the first thread with a good ole fashioned Spurstalk Poll
make the poll public too, polls are only legit if you can see who voted for what
I'd say right off the bat that it would probably be Tpark or Spursdaone
Wow Mouse, I know you would be pissed but too much whining over your finley is getting too in annoying.
omg Sense just regulated chat-style
