That was amazing. And landing right below Pop too!![]()
Like many of the "most outrageous" flops, I don't think this was a flop. For instance, the famous Ginobili/Bell double flop happened when both players caught their heels on each other while backing away. Or Blake Griffin whipping his face three inches from a nasty thrown elbow while the flop police think Griffin should have fought the rational flinch and taken a vicious blow.
These are big guys moving fast.
Hairston seems to have stepped on his own heel, lost his balance and was flailing to keep his balance. This look like clumsiness.
I was going to post this earlier but my cell.
I think it's much more likely that he was intentionally flopping. Regardless of what happened in this situation, I wish flopping and selling a foul weren't a part of the game.

5K isn't enough....
He should be tarred and feathered tbh.
How's going on with our Malik Hairston?
He already got warned earlier this season for flopping, and this clearly looks like a flop to 99% of people who watch basketball. He is a habitual line stepper now, and he will be under the microscope for the duration of his career.
Funny how no one even on the Spurs bench reacted. Like it was a January game they didn't care at all about.
Oh wait.
