If they send thousands of people to S.A., I encourage you all from ST get together as you would a GTG but make it a volunteer group. Give your time to whatever local volunteer organizations that you can. I'm in Houston and it's already started over here so I have already registered with Volunteer Houston, Harris County Citizen Corps and the Houston Food Bank. I'm gathering all supplies here from work that we never use (we have tons of food, plates, water, etc) and will be joining in the efforts tomorrow. Every little bit counts you guys. I am useless as far as money goes as I am one person struggling to get through life itself, but you can do wonders with what we all can spare - time.

Salvation army on KSAT news asking for LARGE.. giant cans of food.

Like the SAM's club size I guess... and cash..

They asked people hold off on clothes and big items cause they already have too much. They also asked for commercial drivers and large trucks..
