Only twice in NBA history, has a Spurs' Exec. won. Oddly enough, the most successful team (3 rings) of Pop and RC has not joined them.

RC and Pop together would be my choice.

Pat Riley has already won it. He's got the name, the hair and the media. If the Heat go on to win 55-58 games like they should, he'll probably win it unanimously.

But that will be rectified once the Pistons eliminate them again.

Riley will win it. RC deserves it. That's okay though, Riles can have the Exec award, RC will take another ring.

I think it will come down to whoever has the better record in the regular season. I think RC will get a fair shake.

    Miami hype machine.

Its just like Jerry Sloan never winning coach of the year, even though he deserved it many a time.

Riley will get it because of the 5 team trade (assuming they do 50+ wins)
