    Manu
    Boris
    Kawhi

Patty is a scoring spark plug. Creating plays for others isn't Timmy's forte tbh.

Patty is a playmaker in a sense that he creates shots for his teamates through ball movement.

It doesn't always have to be the last pass.

Well, one way to decide who are the "top 3 playmakers" on the team would be to look at the number of assists each player per game. Maybe I am being old fashioned, but I think assists do speak to "play making."

Those would be, in order of assists per game:

    Manu 4.8
    Tony 4.7
    Boris and Tim: 3.2
    Cojo: 3
    Leonard 2.4
    Patty 1.6

RAW Assist is an antiqued way of evaluating playmaking. You have to consider player usage and overall touches in general, and how they get their assist.

Both Manu and Boris play significantly less minutes than Parker and Leonard and considering the amount of touches they get...3.2 and 4.8 should be significantly better than a player who handles the ball majority of the time like Tony.

Leonard is an SF who hardly plays the PnR. 90% of his assist are from the Low post which suggest he is a great playmaker in the post...

This doesn't make any sense and I've been coaching basketball for 20 years. Playmakers have the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim and/or score or make a pass to another player for scoring opportunity, they also have the ability to create their own shots or make a pass to another player for a better shot. Opposing teams tend to create defensive schemes to slow them down as they create mismatch opportunities. The three players on the Spurs team that can do this with ease are Parker, Manu and Diaw. There is fourth Spurs player even closes to doing this for Spurs except for a younger Timmy.

Last I seen POP has been using it religiously to create offense..

Maybe you see things differently from POP.

Heck coaches in the league have absolutely abandoned placing an a good SF defender on Parker now and instead have those players stick with Leonard...

Last I checked kawhi is the number 1 transition option..Got make plays for the team said pop.

Depends on what you consider a playmaker. If we're talking strictly halfcourt sets/ball handling/passing etc. then Kawhi probably isn't, but if you include turnovers, rebounding, fastbreaks then he certainly is. No one can deny Kawhi has a big impact in those 3 categories.

    If we are being honest:

    - Healthy Tony / Manu
    - Boris / Timmy / CJ
    - Kawhi / Splitter / Mills
    - the rest

All OP tries to do is land a subtle jab against Tony. It's as obvious as it is boring.
