    It will take a few years for him to recover from this. We saw what happened to Kaepernick

    Let's not forget it took him almost 20 gametime minutes to complete his first pass

    i think he has the potential to become elite and is on a good start to his career, but he's not there yet. i dont think right now he's a guy you can just hand the keys of your offense to (like Brady for the Pats)... or at least he hasn't proven that yet. For the past 3-4 years (or more), the elite qb's have been manning/brady/rodgers/brees. Wilson isn't in that echelon yet

    i think he has the potential to become elite and is on a good start to his career, but he's not there yet. i dont think right now he's a guy you can just hand the keys of your offense to (like Brady for the Pats)... or at least he hasn't proven that yet. For the past 3-4 years (or more), the elite qb's have been manning/brady/rodgers/brees. Wilson isn't in that echelon yet
    Keep in mind he's asked to run the read option offense, in that role he has been as succesful as any of those you mentioned the last two seasons. And far superior to all of them at the same stage iof a career.

    Hes not even close to being palmer level yet. He did not need to throw short bullets in tight spaces yet. Only throws when tge wr has the clear advantage, which is good but doesnt say much about his talent. Whenever he needs to throw quickly or from the pocket, he looks awful. Hed be nothing without lynch.
