When Hibbert closed on him, Leonard side-armed a perfect pass to the corner to Belinelli, who pump-faked Stuckey into the air as the Pacers’ guard scrambled back to defend.
Untouched, Belinelli drained an 18-foot pull-up jumper with 2.1 seconds left to give the Spurs the 95-93 lead.
It was a variation on “The Hammer” one of Popovich’s pet plays out of timeouts, usually with Manu Ginobili making the pass into the corner.
