“I think if Floyd Mayweather really wants to fight him (Pacquiao), he would be announcing it right now,” Hopkins told Boxing Scene. “That’s one side to look at it.”
Pretty sad when a legendary and proud black man throws you under the bus for being afraid to fight.

    Floyd's legacy so far

    ==Floyd Mayweather's Legendary Ducking Resume==
1999 - ducked Joel Casamayor and Shane Mosley (fought Chavez)
2002 - grew balls and fought Castillo (and Castillo got robbed)
2004 - ducked Kostya Tszyu and Winky Wright to fight Demarcus Corley, Henry Bruseles and Arturo Gatti
2006 - (time frame) ducked Margarito and undefeated Cotto (fought Zab Judah? Who just lost
2007 - ducked Clottey, Paul Williams, undefeated Cotto, Margarito and fought an out of his prime (and already TKOed) Dela Hoya and fought Hatton at 147(not 140)
2008 - Do a FAKE retirement to ducked Clottey, Paul Williams, undefeated Cotto, Margarito and Mosley
2009 - ducked Pacquiao, Cotto, Cintron, Clottey, P Williams, and Mosley and fought a lightweight Marquez(Yes, a lightweight!)
2010 - ducked Pacquiao, Cotto, Cintron, Clottey, P Williams, and Sergio Martinez and fought a faded Mosley
2011 - ducked Pacquiao, Cotto, Cintron, Clottey, and S. Martinez
2012 - ducked Pacquiago, Clottey and S. Martinez and fought Cotto who was TKOed twice already (HBO is trying hard to make Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.)
2013 - ducked Pacquiao (Floyd go to Showtime to make it harder for Bob Arum to make the fight happen.)
2014 - ducked Pacquiao, Lara and Khan((Pac n Lara are his mandatory. Khan won over Maidana on Floyd's own poll)
2015 - 36yr old Pacquiao slightly loss speed and power. Time to fight?

Floyd also avoided Acelino Freitas, Paul Spadafora and Leonard Dorin.

Most recent ducked fighters, Khan and Lara. Pacquiao and Lara were Floyd's mandatory. What the so called TBE do? He made a poll between Khan and Maidana. Fans choose Khan. Khan won the poll. Floyd a in duck

It doesn't seem like it will. Floyd simply doesn't want the fight, Manny wants it, has wanted it for years. If you showed me both fighters style and I didnt know anything else I'd say let me guess, the asian kid that is a pure offensive juggernaut is afraid of the defensive mastermind fighter? Somehow...its Floyd that is scared and I will never get why.

Maybe he just wants to fight Manny many years later when he stands no chance? Offense gets lost quicker than defense does in fighters

How is he a s of his former self? He has been KO'd when he was younger and came back stronger than ever. For years, many warned him that he gets into dangerous exchanges and it will cost him one day and it finally did with Marquez.

Manny absolutely dominated Rios, Bradley, and Algieri. He wasnt KO'ing them, but he easily dominated them.

There is this myth that in Manny's prime, he was KO'ing guys left and right. The reality is, once he got to 147 which was against Oscar Dela Hoya, he lost a lot of that power. He still had the vicious speed and accuracy, but the power wasnt the same. This is what happens to all fighters that go up a division, bigger guys = can take better punches. So he only has 1 KO against anyone in the 147 class and thats against coke addict Ricky Hatton.

BTW, Floyd's last actual KO or TKO was against Ricky Hatton in 2007. He has looked like absolute in his last two fights against Maidana, its not a coincidence, dude is getting old.

Floyd pulling the fake "we got to make this happen" with the cameras rolling.

De La Hoya believes that Mayweather doesn’t really have the earnest desire to fight Manny Pacquiao because the undefeated fighter wants to retain his perfect record until retirement, according to a report by ESPN Deportes. Mayweather, who has not lost a single bout in his professional boxing career at 47-0, has two more fights left in his Showtime contract, and many believe that he is fixated on protecting his undefeated streak.

“Mayweather will not fight (Pacquiao), because he thinks that if he leaves the sport undefeated, he will be considered the best ever,” De La Hoya said. “But he won’t be, because people will respect you more when you face the toughest, the most dangerous.”

    Everyone taking a on Floyd
