Could still have Wiggins

“I was caught off-guard when I heard about it,” Love said. .”We’re teammates, we see each other, there’s no problem with us.” …
“I’m not sugarcoating or hiding behind it,” James said. “I gotta seem him every day, so if I have something to say to him, I’ll say it to his face. The rest of the guys, too. … I would hope they would come to me as well.”
Love was asked directly if he felt James’ tweet was attributed to him and his October comments.
“I don’t know. I truly feel if LeBron had a problem with me or had to talk to me for good or worse, he would’ve come up and talked to me,” Love said. “I truly believe that.”

"I truly believe that"
he's never been LeBrons teammate. Wade bosh and riles truly believed he was coming back too. And Cleveland truly believed he was never leaving them too.
Like that would make any sort of difference to the ness that are the Lakers.![]()
Hope the second best team in LA blows their load on Love. That would be hilarious tbh.
Didn't post that to suggest anything about the Lakers.
Posted it more to poke fun of the Cavs and the possibility of losing Love after a season.
Didn't post that to suggest you suggested anything about the Lakers.
Posted it more to poke fun at the Lakers fans that think that the Kobe led Lakers can be relevant again.
Nice sig, brah.![]()
If love is willing to take a pay cut and play 2nd banana to Leonard next year..Sign him up.
I wouldn't mind him for 55 Million in 4 years.
Complaining about Lebron not talking to him face to face, behind his back to reporters
Holy crap Peter Vecsey is still alive?
I miss the NBA on NBC
In a few years when Wiggins is a superstar and everyone realizes Kevin Love isn't really that good unless he's ballhogging and stat padding on a ty team after he ends up signing in LA this will top the Harden trade![]()
Eh, Love's still a really good player. He'd be a fine fit on teams with strong coaches and vets. But James is seriously the hardest player ever to build around, and that'll be the case until he's well into his post-prime and is no longer the first option of his team. There was never any logic in trading Wiggins for Love, as Wiggins had a ready-made role that the team needed. He also had upside, which is critical to having sustained success.
They probably could have gotten both Anderson and Asik for what it took them to get Love -- while keeping Wiggins. But of course, the moment that James came back to town, the Cavs turned back into fools.
In Cavs defense, they were always fools.
Kevin Scrub is just another one of those fake "superstars" who stops trying when he's on LeBron's team because he knows LeBron will always get all the blame when they lose... just like Washed-Up Wade and Bosh. And people think LeBron's ever been on a stacked team![]()
