Seriously Lillard could be a rapper too. Not only is he better than other ballers who've stepped to the mic (Shaq, Kobe, Cedric Ceballos), he's better than a lot of rappers currently in the game.
Not bad, if you listen to freestyle most of the bars don't make sense but just being able to rhyme to a random beat, spit out words on the spot is difficult.
Wow, a young black man who raps. Rare these days.
Really doubt that was on the spot. Pretty sure most s have something in their pocket that they've been practing.
But it was still good he didn't sound awkward like most NBA guys do.
For sure, in the scenario that he had some writtens, I bet that was still a random beat. Still pretty difficult imho.
Yah agreed. That parker rap tho![]()
Don't forget Master P

Tlong just came buckets.
Damn Lillard killed Jay Z's beat. Sounded better than the original Dead Presidents. Dude is from Oakland, right?
They were definitely writtens. I don't even think he was even pretending that he was spitting off the top. There were a bunch of multies and not one misstep or even a long pause. Tell tale signs those were rehearsed writtens. And once you have your writtens down and remembered, it's not that difficult to spit it over pretty much any random beat so long as it's fairly standard.
I do agree he sounded surprisingly good.
Not a big Jay Z fan, though D'Evils is a great song.
I've never been a big fan of Jay either but Reasonable Doubt is just a great album
y'all don't be naïve. every black man has a rhyme rehearsed and ready to go. every beat is the same, they all work with the rhyme![]()
I thought he had some few pauses though like a second or two.
