That is ing re ed. I would never watch any college basketball if that was the case, as they'd have no NBA level talent.

The Pac -12 and ACC already support the idea.
In other new the 3pt line and the dunk are expected to be banned![]()
If this happens alot more talent will be heading abroad for a season or will stay and join the D-League. Makes no sense for the NBA bound 18 year olds to go to college and not play for a season and not get payed.
This a really bad idea.
NBA should look to reform the D-league as an alternative to college ball which is already painfully bad.

College basketball is completely ing awful. Anyone who says they enjoy it more than the NBA, or any other pro league, could be in the running for biggest got on the planet. Philly has had great picks for the past 10 years and they still suck , thanks to horrible college basketball players with no skills.
You only enjoy college ball if your alma mater is a powerhouse. Otherwise you might enjoy it if your friend's alma mater is a powerhouse and your alma mater upset them. I'd rather watch HS ball, at least those kids seem excited to play.
Agreed it is terrible and the only reason people watch it is because they want believe the false notion that these kids actually care about the game of basketball unlike rich NBA pro's. It also sells well across the country in small metro areas that don't have a pro team. I rather watch the Sixers play than watch any college basketball game that's how boring college basketball is.
...at being boring and unwatchable, maybe. The 35-second shot clock is unbearable and only lowering it to 30 seconds isn't going to be enough to fix the product. The possession arrow is a lame gimmick that often punishes good defense. Plus the officiating makes the NBA's refs look good. March Madness is the only decent aspect of college hoops and even that gets boring once all the Cinderella teams are gone.
College basketball is entertaining for about 2 weeks in March.
Only thing I agree about is the officials
Never smoke crack, kids.
