Pop chose to sit both guys through most of the game.
They got smoked by Red , Crawford, and Barnes.
Or did Pop put Danny on Paul (who also did a great deal of smoking)?

Green played great D. shot like
Kawhi shot like . Played lackadaisical D. looks en led
Pop benched kawhi for Marco cuz kawhi couldn't make a shot . That's where the game was lost
They both played great defense. Popovich benched Kawhi and Green didn't get much playing time either.
On the other hand, Diaw and Belinelli were really bad on D.
Red , Crawford, Barnes... ALL went off. Embarrasing
Yeah, I see Leonard and Green only got a 54 combined minutes. Pop being Poop. So what if Kawhi is shooting like ? You keep him in regardless because he can contribute in a variety of ways. I saw on the play-by-play that the Spurs were up 9, Pop sat Kawhi, and the Clips charged right back.

Green was really nice on defense in the 4th.
Leonard was ok defensively, putrid offensively.
Spurs choked because they hit BS 3's, Marco got baptized, Davis got the crowd nuts... Game.
even with those guys having a bad shooting night the spurs still had a chance to win the game.....weird game.....even with a healthy griffin in the line up the clips do not scare me...there a fluke team that will never win a championship...whats the deal with KL...is that hand still bothering him

Pop went with Gino-Beli for too long, IMO... you gotta have only one of those with one of Green-Kawhi out there...

Shouldn't be grouped Danny shot 4/6 and had three nice drives. He just happened to miss 2/3 threes. Happens.
bet is the spurs were playing at home it would of been different....wait that's if the refs don't pull that ticky tack foul BS
Unless Marco, Manu or one of the other bench guys are on fire offensively I don't care how poorly Kawhi or Danny are shooting they should still be on the court for their defense alone (unless they are also playing poorly on defense). Especially when Pop plays small ball, put Kawhi at the 4 and defenders can't sag off on him.
Pop went hack-a-Jordan in the 4th. Spurs didn't take advantage because they weren't making their shots on the other end. Parker bricked two jumpers. Marco missed three shots. Duncan was converting but nobody else it seemed like.
No point in playing Kawhi down the stretch if Pop wasn't even going to attempt to play D. He went all in on the hack-a-Jordan strategy.
Because Pop thought it would be a genius idea to play Manu-Patty or Tony- Belli..
It was a typical game the Spurs should have had against a scrub team (since Blake is out) but were ing around too much because guys were off, "coasting" etc. We've had a couple of those this year already.
