That pissed me off when he hurt himself in warmups the Bengals game and didn't tell anybody.
Might as well get ours started as well.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...houston-texansAfter hearing both O'Brien and Texans general manager Rick Smith frame him as Houston's No. 1 choice to start next season, Mallett acknowledged, per the Houston Chronicle: "It's nice to be wanted."
Mallett guided the Texans to an impressive win over the Browns in Week 11 before tearing his pectoral the following Sunday in a loss to the Bengals. Tom Brady's former backup said that he is "getting close" and has "tossed (the ball) around a little," but called his recovery a "day-by-day process."
The Texans clearly prefer Mallett over Ryan Fitzpatrick and the flock of dudes -- Case Keenum, Thad Lewis and Tom Savage -- behind him.
We expect the Texans to work out a deal with Mallett early on in free agency, if not before March 10. Any challenger would be acquiring the young passer with little proof of what he can offer, but Houston possesses hours of practice tape and offers Mallett a scheme he knows well. This feels like one of free-agency's surest fits.
Please draft an ILB or WR in the first round. Thanks.

Not that this is surprising. Time to get the WR in the first round.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ter_atn_hanzusIt appears Andre Johnson and the Houston Texans have reached the end of the road.
NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Monday that the star wide receiver has been granted permission to seek a trade. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle had the first report.
The surprising development came after the Texans told Johnson he would have a reduced role in the offense in 2015. Johnson subsequently requested a trade or his release. McClain reports that if a trade partner does not materialize, the Texans will release their all-time leading receiver.
Johnson, an active member in the Houston community, posted a goodbye message to Texans fans on his Instagram account late Monday.
sad to see it end this way between the Texans and Andre Johnson. Time to move on and get Kareem Jackson and Ryan Mallet resigned and hopefully get a good receiver in the 1st round.
How`s Clowney been doing recently ?
Not sure. Hasn't been many updates really.
Withe the Myers cut and the Johnson cut or trade, Texans shoud have over $28 million in cap space to work with in free agency.
I wonder if Joseph is on the chopping block.
Brian Hartline in Houston for a physical. Would be a nice depth move since Houston has no depth at all.
i am hoping they can get Joseph to renegotiate for a lower cap hit to stay with the Texans. Hoping they keep Joseph and resign Jackson.
Brooks Reed looking like he won't be back with the team.
Well...bye.
Damn!!! Texans need to get Jackson resigned.

Cornerback Kareem Jackson and the Texans are in the midst of contract talks and the 2 sides are hopeful of getting a deal done this weekend.

Don't know why you'd be losing patience with BOB. Rick Smith is still the GM.
Besides, if someone wants to overpay Jackson then so be it. He's turned into a solid corner but it's not like he's worth top money.
This Andre situation is on O'Brien.
Texans interested in Hoyer. Smh.
