And I believe Jordan got 69 points in one game once, and I may be wrong but I read somewhere that one or two other guys scored 80 or so a long time ago

No, there's no game tape. There was a scouting tape that's where a few clips you have seen came from. But no one knows where that scouting tape is. There's no game tape.

I think Wilt scored 100 and actually scored in the 70's four or five times. I know David THOMPSON scored 72 once and of course DRob with the 71 (last game of season to win Scoring le in 94). I think Elgin Baylor scored 71 in one game as well. I believe he was the ONLY man to score over 70 before Wilt...I think...

Well, it was NOT nationally televised (being a Clipper game at the end of the season) and the Clippers sure didn't want to save game vids from that era. It's not all that shocking
