Kawhi worth more then $80m/4 Year now.... Should of signed him. Now New York or another team might offer $100m+.
I think we might be speaking to early so lets wait and see what happens come playoff time.
I think more like kawhi is getting into rhythm for the playoffs. He hasn't played a lot of games this year and he has low minutes per game. He is still fresh this year. And even then, he is keeping this team fresh too.
The spurs can offer the most money and years. if he wants money. And SA is a winning culture.
Who cares man it's the sixers
Yeah, the sixers are the Spurs of the east with all of their success and le runs.
Some of our own fanbase thinks the same way too.
mainstream fans takes
But yeah, not sure Leonard would fit in that tanking franchise.
Yeah I know man. Just laughing at some mainstream fans.![]()
You beat me too it.![]()
My thoughts exactly, who the wants to go there?
most fans care about raw stats more than anything...That's where mainstream fans come.
Leonard is a top 10 player in the league..He's not a market value max player..He is a max player.
he will win multiple FMVPs...
That length though if Embiid/Noel/Leonard
Embiid and Noel will be busts, give them 2 more years.
He isn't worth the max. No way he gets even 1 max offer. He may get some 16 mil offer though.
It will take a Max contract to keep him in San Antonio.
The cap next year is projected at $63.065, so Kawhi's MAX would be 25% of that, or $15.76.
He won't get a max offer from any other team. Not because he's not worth it, but because EVERYONE knows the Spurs will match.

This
No way Kiwi even considers the dumpster fire that is the 76ers.
Plenty of teams will match out of spite. Otherwise the spurs could lowball kawhi.
The posters on that Philly board are smarter than dabom. Gives them credit for. Only the op talks bad about kawhi.
Most of the posters agree that kawhi is not useful to the Sixers yet.
But, once Duncan and Manu retire, the Sixers might very well be the better team. In the eastern conference it doesn't take much to go from lottery to contender.
If I'm not mistaken, Kawhi will be a restricted free agent, meaning he can sign an offer sheet from other teams, but the Spurs can match that offer. I don't know the specific details of the rule, but I believe if the offer is accepted, the player's current team has 3 days to match. During this 3-day period, the pursuing team's money is tied up in this offer. Even though 3 days isn't that long, no one wants to tie up their money on restricted free agents they know they can't get.
Personally, I don't think it will even get to that, the Spurs will have a max deal on the table as soon as they are able to.
I feel that Kawhi is like Boris in a sense that they both need to be surrounded by people they respect. It brings out the best in them.
a bucket full of reality falling on this forum![]()
Noel will be a defensive monster
