Don't bother him, lefty. He's busy wiping his hard drives to get rid of his child porn stash. He'll be back soon after he changes locations.

I've played all 3 sports (football, basketball, baseball) at a decent enough level, and baseball is the hardest. You can mask a lot of skill deficiencies in the other sports with athleticism, but if you're not naturally blessed with near-superhuman hand-eye coordination, forget about playing baseball at a high level. I can go out to the gym, warm up, and easily hit a few threes in a row. If I go to the batting cages right now and try to hit even an 80 mph fastball, I'll whiff on every pitch, And forget about pitching. My arm would probably explode if I tried to throw anything faster than 75.
Basically, you can go years without playing basketball and jump on the court and still be able to make some shots, layups, and if you can get your conditioning up, play pick up. You take more than a couple years off from baseball, and you'll look like a spastic trying to play it again.
It's amazing how SpursTalk writes off any athletic basketball or football player as a "monkeyballer," but then whines that baseball players "aren't athletic enough."
And we all know Lefty loves baseball. Gary Carter was his childhood hero.
Cubs fans getting excited for yet another 60 win disgrace
All true.
Specially when it comes to the pitchers.
Throwing the ball at a certain velocity is one thing, but to throw it with the precision and accuracy is another. When you think about the knuckle ball, curve ball etc..that's when you begin to realize it takes some doing to make all that happen.
lefty better not try to hop back on the bandwagon when my Expos come back.
