Spurs tied the NBA record with their 9th consecutive win by 10 or more. That is beasting!!!
Take out the anomaly of the Dallas loss after we beat the crap out of conference leader Atlanta, and the Spurs have been methodically destroying playoff teams including GSW.
When you start beating good teams, teams that will be in the playoffs, by margins that are only in lower double digits because Pop calls off the dogs before they win by 30+ then you are truly scary. Other teams notice the margins and they know when they are given some mercy by Pop in the 4th. It has to leave a permanent mental scar that they can't beat the Spurs when we're healthy.
Doesn't mean we will win the NBA championship--too many possible variables--but we are playing at a level where we could go all the way.
(somebody needs to dig out the gif of Clint wiping out the barroom from the Unforgiven)
