predictions?
V. Young's total TD prediction?
Texas 31
Ohio St. 17
V. Young only 3 total TDs, 1 pass, 2 run
I'm gonna go with Texas wins 28-24, with Vince 2pass TD, 1 run TD.
Man Mookie, I just don't ing know about this game. I'm so damn emotionally tied into Texas football that I just can't get any kind of objectivity on this game. But, in the end I'll go with my gut, although I'm nervous as and haven't been able to eat anything all day, I'll say Texas 24/Ohio State 20 in an extremely close game.
I've heard from some Texas supporters that we're going to just dominate these guys, but the Ohio State I know will put up a of a fight at the shoe. The primary factor that has me leaning towards Texas is our ability to control the line of scrimmage. Our O line and our D line are better than OSU's lines, and ability to control the line of scrimmage usually determines the winner in football. I don't think I'm going to get much sleep before this game on Saturday![]()
i agree it will be close but im counting on vince/ramonce busting a 70 yarder in the 4th to put it away
i would be more worried if this game was at DKR... texas knows they have to get after these boys
I don't see domination by either team. Both have too many weapons.

Texas 42
Ohio State 20
I've been a Texas fan for too long, longhorns get smoked.
Too much defense here at OSU to put up that many points Jim.
I hate making predictions but OSU 31 - Texas 21
Good Lord. Step it up for your team, man.
Don't contribute to the bad-fan reputation.
Ever heard of reverse karma?
There is no way that happens. Buckeyes won't sniff 30 points.
I predict it'll be much closer than that. 45 points at OSU seems like a lot, but that would send a message.
I'm gonna revise my prediction to 17-10, Texas wins.
I think that one of the teams (Texas #2, OSU #4) is greatly over-ranked and that will become obvious on Sat.
I hope for the sake of the Big 12 that OSU is the poser. Texas does have a recent history of laying the smack down on the road.
^yeah the one who loses will be overranked because theyd fall in ranking?
although i dont exactly like Texas being ranked 2, i can understand it because all the other teams behind them suck ass
i do think the Ohio St. offense is getting to much credit, their O is pretty feeble
You have no idea what it's like to play in the Horseshoe. Texas is going to get killed.
True enough I don't, but I respect the Texas D too much to think that they'll allow that many points. Also, Vince Young is the coolest QB in the pocket and running. He never seems to get flustered, even when he makes a mistake. I don't doubt that they could lose, but I just don't think it'll be by much. Should be exciting to see how it goes. If Texas wins are we #1? I would guess not, as SC hasn't lost in some time.
those are pretty strong words. almost as strong as mookie saying their offense is feeble
i dont know too much about college football, but if they're ranked 4th, they gotta be pretty in good
Oh contrare' my friend. As always, you never know what you are talking about.
Wisconsin Badgers at Ohio State Buckeyes
1st 2nd 3rd 4th
#16 WIS (6-0) 0 14 3 7 24 FINAL
#15 OSU (3-2) 7 6 0 0 13
October 9, 2004 - Ohio Stadium
Wisconsin is not near as good as Texas and look what they did to them last year in your freaking Horseshoe.

I hope its because UT is up big.ut fans will be watching second-stringers in the third quarter
Jim, how can you be an uneducated buffoon and yet be a dentist? It boggles the mind... The game against Wisconsin last year was early in the season against a rebuilding Ohio State team. The Buckeyes are much better now. Are you aware that Ohio State has never lost a night game in Columbus? Are you aware that Ohio State has not lost a non-conference game at home in 15 years? Didn't think so...
I think that the only dental school in Texas is at UT.Jim, how can you be an uneducated buffoon and yet be a dentist?![]()
I'm pretty sure they have not played at team in either scenario as good as Texas. The only predictions that I think are laughable, are the ones that have Texas getting killed. If Texas loses, it'll be close.
