Will be a good member of the team if he can just get the injury bug under control.![]()
SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have re-signed free agent forward/center Sean Marks. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Sean is important to the chemistry of our team,” said Head Coach Gregg Popovich. “We’re thrilled to have him back.”
The 7-0 Marks appeared in 23 games for the Spurs during the 2004-05 season, averaging 3.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per contest. Marks spent the first 42 games of the campaign on the injured list with a sprained back, and then another 13 games due to a sprained left interphalangeal joint in his left foot.
In six NBA seasons the 30-year-old has appeared in 80 contests, averaging 3.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per game.
