He´s a setback altogether.
http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas-maver...uffers-setbackChandler Parsons doesn't expect to be 100 percent when the playoffs begin. He just hopes he's healthy enough to help the Dallas Mavericks.
That's not a certainty. Not after Parsons, who hasn't played since April 2 due to soreness in his right knee, suffered a setback during an intense pregame workout Sunday.
The plan was for Parsons to play the last two regular-season games, giving him plenty of time to chip off the rust and get ready for the playoffs. That changed when his knee "kind of gave out in a weird way" during his workout at the Staples Center.
Sounds like there's a chance he could miss time if we meet in the 1st round.

Doubt he misses much time, but all these injuries popping up right before the playoffs is worrisome, tbh. Teams in the West are killing themselves fighting for playoff spots, while the Cavs will cake-walk to the Finals.
They'll be fine. They have MV
Well, if San Antonio happens to make the finals again, Kawhi will eat LeBrombrom alive two years in a row.![]()
They're just trying to pull the Ibaka move from OKC tbh.
Doesn't matter, Kawhi will take him or J out of the game.
Dirk is who you need to worry about. He's found his shot.
Kawhi Leonard, tbh.

Living in Plano, i get to watch a lot of Mavericks games. I think Parsons Chandler has been their key third man this year. Most folks think that it takes two or three star players to go along with some good role players and a deep bench to go all the way. Mavs made some key acquisitions, bringing in Chandler, Tyson Chandler, Rajon Rondo, Amare Stoudemire and some other good pieces to the puzzle this year.
But in my opinion Parsons Chandler was a key piece, giving them a solid 15 and 5 per game--and lately simply found his way to take over games at times. Without him, the Mavs have been starting Richard Jefferson who has performed surprisingly well, shooting the corner 3 he never seemed to develop on the Spurs.
As DMC said, you always have to account for Dirk when his shot is on, but he looks a lot slower out on the court this year, especially on defense where he's never been a world=beater.
If CHandler can't go, I don't think Dirk and Monta Ellis are enought to beat us.
I would give half my yearly salary to see when James find out, that it will be his third straight Finals against Leonard and with Spurs having HCA once again.
Just FYI, RJ was never a better three point shooter than he was with the Spurs. Unfortunately, that wasn't the problem. The Mavs will figure it out pretty soon.
Parsons just went to the locker room in the 2nd quarter...pretty sure it was his knee
He's a nobody. Dallas might win lose. Chanandler won't make a difference![]()
We ed. Parsons was huge for us this year. * for Rockets.

Devin Harris is injured as well. Hate to cry over spilled milk, but , we really missed an opportunity with that New Orleans game. Could've been playing an already weak Dallas team that is even weaker due to injuries.Dallas Mavericks small forward Chandler Parsons will not play in Game 2 against the Houston Rockets due to soreness in his right knee and could miss the rest of the series against his former team.

Losing Parsons is addition by subtraction for the Mavs
