RFA. Bucks gonna match any offer from what I've heard. Could even get a max offer based on what I've read.

Middleton was the best story the media didn't focus on this NBA season. He finished ahead of DeMarcus Cousins, Marc Gasol, Paul Millsap, and Draymond Green in Real Plus Minus, and was #8 in the entire league in that category. That's an incredible accomplishment, especially considering Milwaukee started the season thinking Giannis and Jabari were the future and Middleton was supposed to be nothing more than a bench guy.

There's no way I'd be comfortable giving this guy a max contract, dude was a nobody his first two years in the league. Even if we look past the fact that LeBron and AD are the only players in the league who really warrant a max deal, he needs to show and prove for at least one more year that he deserves big money.

One advantage Milwaukee has is that the Cap is expected to jump significantly in the next 2 or 3 years... a $12mil/4 year offer seems huge now and looks like a borderline superstar contract, but by 2017 standards it might be very reasonable.

He should thank Parsons and Green because he is going to get the max.
