If I'm remembering correctly, 6 of the previous 7 Game 1 losses were at home in an HCA series - only in 2010, when they beat the Mavs in Dallas as the 7 seed, did they win a Game 2 on the road.
All 7 prior series, Spurs won G2 #Elias

If Spurs win Game 2 tonight, cliff jumpers(Spurstalk) are going to have a different tune. Guaranteed.
I've been a quiet observant of this forum for years already, and what you said is quite par for the course.
Baynes tonight 20pts 20reb 10 blocks.... Spurs win 120 to 108.... Book it!!
None of these stats really matter.
The spurs still a chance for sure, Even if they lose tonight game.
Wow, they won all 7 prior Game 2s? Percentage-wise, doesn't that mean the Spurs are likely to lose tonight?
Pretty sure we win tonight.
That's WHY I don't panic.
Remember Marbury?
Buried the Spurs in game 1 of the play-offs in 2003 with his buzzer-beater 3???
That was a dagger!!
That's pretty incredible considering if MEM goes up 2-0, that would be the first time in their franchise history where they held a 2-0 lead![]()
Duh tbh...that's the mentality of the most fans. Especially in playoffs. Most fans aren't really interested in discussing subsitution patterns of the 11-13th player. They are on an emotional rollercoaster and go up and down with the high's and low's of a fast paced game like basketball.
All we need is to get one in LA. Doesn't matter if it's now, Game 5, or Game 7. Preferably tonight though, since it would inject a lot of doubt into their swagger.
Play our game, hit our open shots, and we win. It's as simple as that.
lol I knew this response was coming.
Sounds good. I will book it.
If we play like we did during the win streak we could backdoor sweep. If we play like we did Sunday we're getting swept.
OP, why did you vote for the Clippers in this poll, tbh?

And the place was much better then.
Shut up and go your mother some more.
If the Spurs don't leave shooters wide open in transition and the historical trend is likely to continue.
Yeah its like they need that rude awakening to take it up a gear
I don't think so, I think some of them will actually keep that same tune. The old sports this year have been relentless
