This dude Evin Gualberto on YT makes a bunch of great defensive highlight vids, recommend subscribing if you enjoy defense. He made one for Danny Green a while back...he finally released Kawhi's. Thought I'd share it with the ST fam.
thanks for sharing!

I knew someone would say that. Just wanted to give the guy his due for taking the time to do these tbh.
That's just sick. You'll probably never see better perimeter defense than that.
2 things stand out:
- blocks are finesse blocks that end up as a DReb, instead of Howard-like blocks that end up somewhere in the audience with the ball back to the offensive team.
- crazy conversion rate on steals, with often Kawhi finishing himself.
It's not just steals and blocks that turn into stats, it's steals and blocks that turn into points.
Some of those steals remind me of boxing or martial arts, where he feints so the ball handler reacts and ends up putting the ball where Kawhi wanted it go be.
The way be changes distance, efficient, quick, and relaxed until time to burst, simply superb!
Man how can he have such a great feel for the ball in other people's hands but have such a poor feel for his own on offense, particularly driving. I know big hands, but still.
all true in particular first part... this is why I also love Duncan's block because there is no show off he will try to block and keep the ball instead of showing off his ass or pumping the crowd. A block with 10 sec on the clock that ends outbounds is better than a basket but you let opponent to set a new play
Kawhi does what I do in NBA 2k15 all the time: being far enough away from the person whom you're anticipating the pass to and fly back to your man to go for the steal.
Watch this highlight video on mute and have the music play from the bottom video. It's the theme song for Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget.

What's scary is he is only going to get better with time. He will learn players tendencies and play off his skills and experience.
Damn FkEvin, next time at least normalize the volume on your clips
