Matchup of the Series
Rose vs Cavs (since Irving joined Association)
Irving vs Bulls

He's not? Cavs in trouble
Same thing on the other side, though..Butler will guard James..
Harden would do a better job guarding Rose... Might as well let Irving play half-court.
Butler historically owns James defensively. This Playoffs might outplay him on Offense too
I meant Rose will have to guard Irving, they don't have anybody else, because Butler will be guarding James..I assume Mike Dunleavy isn't going to be asked to defend them..
Ah I see Malik. I think Snell will get some minutes against James too. Who is the starting 2 for Cavs?
New developments
I am NOW firmly expecting Bulls to break the James East hostage situation
If the SAT-cheating got doesn't start playing some defense, the Bulls might choke to Milwaukee![]()
Not many people know this but Derrick Rose guards Kyrie better than anyone else.
You also forget how the Bulls are made up of all Top 15 players fwiw...
Please stop stealing my posts. Thank you.
This is the Bulls only chance. They don't do it now they should just blow it up.
Agreed. Trade Noah
IIRC, the Bulls said that Noah is never on the trading block, as long as things is there at least.
That was before Pau, whose contract is delicious. Noah's offense has worsened to non-existent. He's arguibly the worst of the Big Guys: Pau, Taj and Mirotic. He should be a center piece against Cleveland (versus overwhelmed against the young long Bucks) Bulls need to establish and keep paint dominance
Noah isn't really an offensive player, just look at shot that explains everything. That aside he's a great defender , and probably the 3rd best passer (especially from the high block)after the gasol bros. but better than all that , he plays hard every night. Noah is one of my favs tbh.
Pretty much..Atlanta looks a lot worse now that Horford can't shoot anymore(broken finger), and Cavs without Love for the entire playoffs..
Bulls' last chance before Thibodeau leaves and Rose gets hurt again..
basically yeah, cavs are probably going to run the east the next couple of years. No other compe ion. Unless the pacers make some miracle happen.
Curious to see how Cleveland does without Love. Personally, I think their starting lineup may be better with Thompson, especially for their defense. However their depth could be hurting a bit, depending on how Marion contributes. They are going to miss JR though.
Their spacing is going to be ugly with Thompson in there, tbh, he doesn't really have any offensive skills outside of rebounding..Cavs with Love looked like they finally figured everything out in round 1, albeit against a ty Boston team..
The only way to negate Love's absence is if Lebron moves to the 4 like he did for extended stretches in Miami, but a lot of people are reporting that he's reluctant, apparently..he'll probably have to, though..
