I doubt it. Pop is going to let him keep pulling the team down. He sucks as PG. He statistically doesn't make any of the starters better besides Tim. Coincidentally Tim is the only one he really passes to.

Or is tony part of the tanking solution because that's what I think is going to happen with an expired point guard playing starter minutes.

They won't due to loyalty, but I doubt any team in the league would take him, tbh..he's no longer a starter on a playoff team IMO..

Jason Kidd ...... 2003 was the closest we would have seen Parker taking a back seat

As I've been saying for a month or so, the difference between Parker and Pablo Prigioni is minimal, tbh..

Parker is not going to be traded. Our best option would be for him to retire but he has said that he wants to play 20 seasons in the NBA before he retires. At this rate, he won't even come close to lasting that long.

Nope, it's a loyalty thing at this point. Trading away Tony would be a slap in the face by the organization, even though it's the right move.

The bigger question is, "Is there a team dumb enough to actually trade for a degenerating, injury-prone 33 year-old PG who's due $14 Million a year for the next 3 years?

The answer is No. Tony will a retire a Spur.
