You blame Kawhi? I blame Pop. Anyone could clearly see Kawhi needed to be closer to the rim or be a help defender.
Pop was leaving Kawhi out to dry.
This was not his series. This was just not the Spurs' year. Nor will it ever be the Spurs' year again. This is the end of an era, no need to blame one particular player.

Pop should have played the TP,MG,DG,KL, TD lineup more. I think Kawhi had more impact in that lineup.

Just because Parker was terrible doesn't mean Leonard is free from criticism. So is Splitter, for that matter... he was TERRIBLE this series. And until this game, so was Green, but he really showed up today.
1-If he didn't get the ball in two previous quarters nobody can't expect he shoot well in the last quarter. No rhythm.
2-And people saying that he deferred in clutch, that he was scared and didn't shoot...He did, just his shots wasn't falling.
That's what I hate. Kawhi only gets shots late in quarters with no rhythm. Get Kawhi going in the first and you can expect Kawhi to shoot better in late game situations.

Parker had one of the worst playoffs by a starter from the last 10 years tbh.
Kawhi apologists are going to be as unbearable as the Parker ones. He had a ty game, just admit it and move on. I'm ready for the draft and FA.
