No, he won't.
He will be motivated to get revenge on CP3
Unless he eats a 24 year old... then no
In reg season maybe. He'll still choke in the playoffs like he has his entire career
Well, he can't get any worse. I mean his decline isn't worse than D-will, a PG who really did get fat and waste his prime. Parker will probably recover from injuries a bit, but more importantly he'll learn his new role. It'll be up to guys like K to fill the gap. I didn't see anypoint where we could jettison or bench parker this season although if we went with Cojo all year we might have been a bit better? I don't think so.
But yeah, tough times for the spurs.
Unless Spurs get a new PG we can expect more trash play for a majority of a season from Parker. He would need to sit for almost s full season to be useful in the playoffs
He is going to run himself even more into the ground playing for the French national team this summer. No good for the Spurs next season.
That's harsh. Parker has been huge in multiple playoff runs (2009, 2012, 2013)
What worries me is that he continues to play the same way as if he was still in his prime. The dude had more shot attempts than Kawhi in a few games this series. That can't happen if the Spurs want to contend next year.
no les in any of those years. Tony Parker led offense gets you nowhere in the playoffs
Without a healthy Parker, Spurs can't get anywhere
TD was the best player on the Spurs. Nice try though.
Too bad this is all the history books will remember

2 months rest.... just make sure he stays away from taco cabana and whataburger
History remembers
Boobie Gibson
Yeah, the history books remember Cedric Maxwell too. Doesn't mean he was better than Larry Bird
this isn't the 90s. people actually use stats and metrics to measure players. Parker will be remembered as the tiest player in the 2014-2015 playoffs.
He needs to improve his trade value in regular season games. Otherwise Spurs will be doomed.
Spit my coffee up. Thanks.![]()
