He invited the whole team out for paintball once, but I had never played. I called him to ask him what we have to wear. He said long pants and a long-sleeve shirt 'so it can protect you from the paint.' But he showed up in a tank top, shorts and knee pads. When I asked him why, he said: 'Well, I'm not gonna get hit.'

is this just a very tight team that feels that an era is about to end so spending time together OR is this carefully being leaked to create a narrative capable of luring potential free agents? Not a conspiracy theorist but I feel that the Spurs have always been tight but I don't recall this much of the what they do after the season is over has ever been 'leaked'. I mean I remember a few twitter pics of everyone doing the frog pose w/ the Silver dancers but nothing like partying caught on TMZ and paintball session pictures. I am an alumni of the University of Alabama, we are characterized as arrogant and en led but our main recruiting stance is, "come join the dynasty". Auburn University our in state rival, heck our arch rival, they counter punch with the "Auburn family" approach. Those guys are corporate and successful but we really care and are a family. It works well for them. Are the Spurs trying to sell the, here you are family narrative to free agents?

This is awesome! No Kawhi or manu. I'm sure kawhis at the gym but manu hmm not sure guess he's too old for silly games. Plus he might get hurt tbh.
