You'd have been better off just posting the opening intro. Classic, timeless. If they put the NBA back on NBC, they would likely still use it.
Now post the TNT from around the turn of the century, that was better than the current music.
Fast forward to 2:19 past commentary

Phoenix Suns @ San Antonio Spurs: Game Six, 1993 Western Semifinals
Ah man, NBA on NBC was something else. The theme song, the commentating, the overall production was like HBO compared to ty Showtime. ABC\ESPN just can't get it right...I wish they could but they just cant.
Never went to playoff game at the Dome. The atmosphere must've been badass for this game with 40k+ fans.
lol symbolism over substance
CBS did a nice presentation of their own.
The Dome mostly sucked compared to the AT&T Center and Hemisfair Arena, but this game was the exception. The Alamodome has these hollow plastic seats that make a lot of noise when you thump them, and it sounded like half the arena was beating on the seat in front of them when Stoudamire was shooting free throws with 12 seconds left. He missed one and looked like he was about to cry when he went to his bench for the timeout right after. It was extremely loud when he was shooting those, way louder than I ever heard Hemisfair even.
Tickets were so cheap at the Alamodome too, since no one bought season tickets due to the availability of single game tickets for any game. I paid $16.50 for pretty nice lower level seats to go to that game. No way the Spurs could have survived playing in that building much longer though with those kind of ticket prices.

pink on and a professional nba floor. ing sad.
I like Defense. I like 90s Basketball
I said Defense not hiding. You don't score points in the NBA by forcing your opponent into turnovers and shot clock violations
I remember the "Bad Boys"...Laimbeer and Thomas...awesome!
That's cherry picking, Limit, and you know it. Counter-punching is defense.
90s NBA fan is full of . When Chicago scores 84 points it's exciting but when the Pistons, Rockets, and Spurs won les doing the same they were considering boring as by the Jordan fellators.
Probably because the Pistons, Rockets, and Spurs didn't have wing players with the skill/athleticism and aesthetically pleasing games of Jordan and Pippen. The Bulls had the best of both worlds, great defense and two exciting players and a in headcase in RodmanAs much as I liked Tim Duncan the Spurs didn't get truly exciting until Ginobili joined the team because he was completely unpredictable and fun to watch.
Despite the low scores, the most exciting athletes on earth were playing, pop culture icons even. When they started retiring, so too went much of the NBA's fanbase with them.
If it weren't for Amy you'd still be boring as , but, approaching triple next month.
Amy
Hannah Storm used to look like that in the 90's while on NBC. How did she blossom into what she has as she got older?Saying something like "plastic surgery" doesn't quite cut it.
hannah storm is still a cretin
