Maybe it is one of the componets for making meth that they're trying to stop?
I shop at HEB for groceries and I have my prescriptions filled there....up until the begining of Sept., theyI could purchase Tylenol sinus OTC....no problem. Now they say go to the pharmacy to purchase it.....I go to the pharmacy and they tell me the stopped carried it because of a new law for psuedophedrine. It supposedly being abused by kids.
I have never heard of this until then. It is no more abused than Nyquil. I get sinus headaches due to allergies rather often and they are the worst.
I didn't know that they passed a law until I went to purchase it.
Why don't they just ban Nyquil, and some of those weight loss drinks?

me too. Many of these OTC meds are being used illegally for Meth production so now they are being controlled.
Yep, psuedoephedrine is used to make meth.
I have to suffer now because some punk wants to use Tylenol and other OTC's to have a buzz?

Well nowadays, kids will take more pills than you are suppose to do get high.
When I was in high School, a gang was a bunch of us going to the movies.....not a drive-by or something

So yeah, we all have to suffer because of the irresponsible actions of a bunch of out-of-control druggies. Soon we won't be able to buy paint.
I'm surprised Nyquil isn't gone yet...it's on the list.
So, now I can go get a $70-per-month supply of Allegra, which is a level 4 or whatever drug...so my copay is $50 instead of $10.

To me what is the most incredibly stupid move of all time is that the military won't carry Zyrtec-D anymore (it has pseudoephedrine) or zyrtec. So they switched me to claritin. Then they turned around and gave me a prescription for a butt load of pseudoephedrine tablets to take.
I guess they wanted to cut out the middle man.

Besides...Over the counter medication & drugs in general should only be available to the rich and famous!
Damn kids. Why can't the just chug a bottle of Vicks 44D to get high like normal people.
Try a compound with Phenylephrine, often abbreviated as PE
This is why we should only teach Chemistry to kids who aren't obvious drug users.

They were already limiting people to 2 allergy meds at a time, which seemed like a good enough law - this new deal seems like overkill.
