I still despise the clown, but I have to give props when they're due. He seems to have much greater impact when not paired with ball dominant inefficient chuckers who live at the FT line (Kobe, Harden).

The Rockets played their best basketball of the playoffs with Harden on the bench in the 4th quarter. That's all you need to know about the Rox, tbh.

Harden on the bench was the key to the comeback. He didn't get to spend all game trying to flop, and instead some heavy pipe hittin' s got to work on holmes with a pair of pliers and a blow torch, old school like.

From a pure FG% standpoint. I've never been a fan of true shooting percentage as a definer of efficiency. 20 points on 5-18 shooting isn't the "same" as 20 points on 10-18 shooting because the former gives the opponent 5 more fast break opportunities and could wear your team down as they hit the offensive boards and sprint back in transition. It makes sense that a big man would excel with such a player off the floor since he doesn't have to constantly cover the o-glass and run back on defense during a fast break.

I mention Kobe's name and Kirby fans pull out their semen shields, per par.

You guys are so sensitive, it's cute.

Facts are, though, that Dwight seems to play better, make his team better, when ball dominant players with poor efficiency are off the floor. Kobe and Harden fit that description, like it or not.

Howard is who we thought he was, and we let him off the hook.

Clippers folded like a blowup doll with the crotch bitten out (I'm assuming that's what it would do, i don't personally know).

Actually most of us didn't want him to stay, I have very little against the guy tbh. I really dont fault the guy for leaving and I blame Kobe for his departure...I'm prolly in the 1% of people that fault Kobe for the entire thing and not Dwight. He played through an injury and did more than pussy Pau and Kobe did that year.

With that said, Dwight is NOT worth a max for the Lakers and I know mid knows and said that himself. Why should the guy stay in a rebuilding team with a max contract? He's in his prime, let him go play with a team that has a shot. The BEGGING was from Jeanie and Jim who are lost in guidance without their father.
