Lakers need to build their depth down low, even if they do decide to take a big man with their second pick. The team could loseJordan Hill, Carlos Boozer and Ed Davis to free agency, and would only have younger prospects to play. They will likely need to look for a cheaper veteran, and Brandan Wright may be that guy. Even though he is entering his prime, he bounced around a lot last season and did not get to consistently display what he brings to the table. He may be another player looking for a shorter deal in order to boost his long-term value.
