I'm not sure if this is really well known or not, but I find it fun to play around with when I'm bored. For those of you who don't know what it is. It's a satellite image of the Earth. You can zoom in on things and all that fun stuff. Even type your address in and it can show you your house from above. My house doesn't show up well because I think it was cloudy the day it was taken. But, if you do a city like Chicago or New York, everything looks clear.
Like here's the SBC Center, its bigger but resized when i added it:
Anyways, I just found it kinda neat to mess around and look at different things. Just thought I'd share. Here's the link if you want to download it.
I wasn't here back then, or I just arrived when the last post came in. O well.
Actually I made a thread too of Google Earth at the same time. But mine was a lot better cause I had the picture of SBC Center & The Alamodome.![]()
You thought of the same thing as me just way late

I was without internet back around that time. So I could have beaten you too it if I had internet. Anyways, on their site it looks like they have some add on after the hurricane. How old is this image do you think anyways? Ground Zero is all cleaned up and construction now, so its gotta be kinda new i guess.
I think there was a post about Google Moon, somewhere..
You're way behind.
The pictures are over 3 years old.
if it makes u feel any better u beat me to that
