    KSAT showed the guys at one of the shelters playing basketball with evacuees, signing autographs, and serving food.

    Bruce and George Gervin were both also there.

    They helped serve food to the evacuees.

    Knew our class act Spurs would be involved with the local effort in some form or fashion!!! And done without in ordinate amount of media coverage. Never heard about it till I saw it on this site.

    Yes....this is all I asked...it cheered those people up...just like I said and got drubbed for it. Certain people didn't think they need to be there.

    Usually they (Spurs) are quicker on the draw in times like this.

    I missed the report....I turned on the TV and saw the reporter signing off of the scene.
