Lol playoff Curry carried by 90s style player
Malik Hairston
Wow...I just don't know what to say.
Curry was and is miles the most valuable player in this series..
Legacy unfairly ruined by a stupid decision.
Lol playoff Curry carried by 90s style player
Malik Hairston
NBA doesn't want to end up like FIFA, so they made the right decision lol
Curry was probably the 3rd best Warrior this series behind also Green
Curry clearly got out played in losses
Curry would have only got mvp if he over 30 tonight he was very average tonight
Leonard last year and Iguodala this year is a positive trend for the league, giving Finals MVP to the player that has the greatest overall impact instead of just gaudy stats.
We need to get some FIFA voters up in this so that the true great players get the awards they deserve, tbh.
Giving the MVP to a player that impacts both ends of the floor. What a concept.
Yes his legacy ruined because tp has finals mvp trophy
Not sure on final numbers but:
Jake Fischer JakeLFischer
Andre Iguodala took the Finals MVP with a 7-4 vote over LeBron James. No votes for Stephen Curry.
I think in another series, a starting PG with 26 PPG on 44% shooting and 6.3 assists would win MVP, but with all the emphasis on LeBron by the media, it made what Iggy did more prominent. There was also this notion that Curry was not as good in the Finals as he was all season, but that is an unfair comparison. You do not play great teams every night during the regular season.
i didnt have anything against iguodala being picked... but curry will still be remembered as the best player on the team
cedric maxwell won FMVP for the celtics, but nobody thinks he was better than bird. same with kobe and pau tbh
LeBron was the best player on either team in this Finals. FACT.
ok... he was the best player in last year's finals too. what's your point? and shaq was the best player in 04
That is my point. TEAMS win championships. Even the best player in the world can't win playing 1 or 2 on 5.
NBA must change the award... FMVT
