    University of Alabama coach Avery Johnson has offered former San Antonio Spurs teammate Malik Rose a special assistant to the head coach position, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
    Rose is considering the offer to join Johnson's staff, and is expected to make a decision over the weekend, sources told Yahoo Sports.

    I have quite liked Malik's commentary during the times I've had the displeasure of watching the Sixers the last few years.
