2003 was terrible. The Spurs would go on to win no more championships and eventually the franchise relocated to Anaheim. Or was it St. Louis? I forget.
Not getting Kidd or striking out on Aldridge this summer??

Is this a serious question? We had Parker as a replacement, and we knew he was good. There is no one stepping in to replace LMA as of right now.
2003 was such a disaster and still won 2 championships in next 4 years.
But they could of won 5 in a row,TBH
Moved to New Orleans.
Obvious answer is obvious. Missing on Kidd cost us nothing. 3 les after that, one Finals MVP for Parker, nbd. Missing out on Aldridge plus the departure of Splitter could slam Duncan's le window shut for good.
Kidd was always a longshot due to how much more money NJ could give him. Plus it wasn't clear whether he would have fit with Parker and Manu ready to become stars.
In 2003, I was more pissed that PJ Brown turned down the Spurs and then they had to settle for Rasho and Hedo.
LMA would just be gravy on top of the cherry on top that was Ring No. 5.
2015, we need LeMaricus this is a transition period our future is in his hands, his hands are full of food and we are collapsing here.
LAMILTON COME WITH US!![]()
