I'm thinking over, probably around 62. Hopefully that's enough to beat out the Warriors for the #1 overall seed. Either way, it's gonna be an epic WCF.![]()

62 sounds right. We lost some really close games last year that had we had LMA we would've won.
me too, around 61-62-63.......probably 61
but let us not discount the ing Thunder, they will be up for blood
but with a new coach, they could struggle early
so we must pounce early
I think this offseason has two parts: the first jewel is the signing of Aldridge
but the second and most important jewel is how to fill up the roster into full-strength
we have done the first, now if we can do the second, let the celebrations begin!
60 is a big number, and a lot of things have to go right (including health) to get there. And it's still going to take some time to work Aldridge into the fold. But the 50-win streak is in no danger.
You need a superior bench to get into the 60s. I don't know if we have that any more.
I'd agree with this. There will be an adjustment period.
73-9. Move over 95-96 Bulls...
I know I'm way too happy right now....but it.
The only question you should ask is who do you think the 8th seed will be
I like 16 wins in playoffs better
I think we need to gun for that #1 seed. The last thing we want is to play both okc and golden state in the playoffs. Most likely these 3 teams will finish top 3 in the standings so I think it is imperative to finish #1 and not have to play both teams especially with no HCA.
Always takes a while to jel imo... I'll say under
SAN ANTONIO NOW FAVORITES IN THE WEST
After agreeing to a deal with LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio's odds to win the West dropped to 2-1, besting Oklahoma City and defending champ Golden State (both 5-1). Gregg Popovich's squad is 4-1 to win it all, behind only Cleveland (9-4).
I agree that a deep bench is crucial for a deep playoff run. But our bench isn't exactly going to be weak this year. Our depth chart could potentially look like this next season:
Parker / Mills
Green / Ginobili
Leonard / Prince or Butler / Anderson
Aldridge / Diaw / Jean-Charles
Duncan / West / Stoudemire or Boozer / Bonner
That is not only the best starting five in the NBA, but an embarrassment of riches on the bench.
I think if we're healthy 60-62 wins is a realistic target. I imagine it'll take a bit of time for the offense to get adjusted to Aldridge as well as Kawhi continuing to develop on that end. If/when they get accustomed to playing together, I think we'll really start rolling and looking like a le team.
We'll have to see who else we add to fill out the roster. If the FO does well and we have a bit of luck, we could actually end up having a pretty solid bench despite losing a bunch of guys. I'm also interested to see how KA/LJC look...would be nice if one of them could be a contributor next year, but we'll see.
I say under, but it's not by much.
Is therre a vote for "you jinxing motherf**ker"
