    The last time a Portland Trailblazer left Oregon for Texas in search of that elusive NBA championship was when one Clyde "The Glide' Drexler bolted the Blazers for the Houston Rockets 1995.

    Two decades later, history seems to be ....repeating.

    Hours ago, Lamarcus Aldridge tweeted "He is going to be Spur." 2015.

    Question is, will this defection lead to another le-clinching conclusion?

    No, the last one was Terry Porter. Well, I guess he had a few stops first. Always loved that guy. He was an old, old man by the time he was here.

    Also, Jerome Kersey.

    As far as native Texans returning from Portland, though, the OP is correct.

    I agree with the analogy.

    LMA=Drexler
    Hakeem=Leonard
    Parker= Brooks minus the shooting.
