I wonder when tickets will go on sale.
BATON ROUGE, La. — Three New Orleans Saints home games this season will be moved to the Alamodome, NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue announced today.
Four others, Tagliabue said, will be played in Baton Rouge at LSU’s Tiger Stadium.
The Saints will play in the Alamodome on Oct. 2 against Buffalo, on Oct. 16 against Atlanta and on Dec. 24 against Detroit.
The Oct. 2 game will be the first regular-season NFL game ever played in the Alamo City.
Saints home games now booked for Baton Rouge are Oct. 30 against Miami, Nov. 6 against Chicago, Dec. 4 against Tampa Bay and Dec. 18 against Carolina

It's wonderful that the Saints will be able to play at least a few games in Louisiana. Their fans deserve that.
I'm glad that we in San Antonio finally get a chance to host a regular season NFL game, and that we'll have the opportunity to see the Saints take on 3 pretty good teams. That should help our case for proving that we could support a team if an opportunity ever arose. I'll buy tickets to all three games, if I can.
On the Fox pre-game show yesterday....they mentioned that the Saints players and coach Haslett had expressed an interest in playing all their home games here. Apparently a meeting with the players and players rep Gene Upshaw got "rather heated" because the players wanted to stay near their families. Essentially they have now 13 road games and they were not happy about it. I would have liked to see the NFL be more receptive to the wishes of the players.
Damnit I wanted the Dolphins game. I would not mind seeing Vick though.
yea the players wanted to stay in SA . Mostly because their families will be in SA and because so will most of their Fans.
I understand the desire to play in Louisiana and I think its great but I think the players and their families, who were also displaced, should be listened to. Just my .02.
Jerry Jones is the one that don't want San Antonio gravy going to Saints gear and stuff.
How apt that a city filled with Missions will be home to the Saints....
kori, put one of those IMPORTANT banners on when the tickets go on sale please..
I will - as soon as I find out.
Christmas Eve will be so great when I get to see my Lions lay the smack down to the Saints!
Week 4 Saints vs Bills
week 6 Saints vs Falcons
week 16 Saints vs Lions
Those are the games in San Antonio.
Will the games be televised??? Subject to Blackout?![]()
yea FALCONZ~!!!
Omg that's gonna be elite...
Do they let you take camera into NFL games?
Yes they do...when I went to the Dallas/Detroit game last year, I got some great pictures sitting 5 rows up from the field. I would assume that policy applies all over.
My brother just called me and he supposedly said that 760 reported that tix go on sale tomorrow...I guess through Ticketmaster.
Not sure but i'm sure you can hide it. Just put it where your crotch isthats what i did one time.
one game for me.
That blows.
oh well, better than nothin I guess.
OK, now the city has the games. Three games, gm. one to establish, gm. two to improve or to prove gm one was no fluke and gm three to prove a point. This can go as a positive or as a negative for the city.
Now it's up to the football fans of this city to prove a point and to change the reputation the city established in the past. All three games should be a sellout no matter what and it's not like they are giving us dogs. Buffalo appears to be a team on the rise, Atlanta with Michael Vick and Detroit may be competing for a playoff spot this year.
