But seriously, why so serious? It's just a sport, it has nothing to do with the citizens that are posting this crap... why not just go out and get a job, get laid with a bunch of different interesting people, go back to school, take a trip abroad, and/or fill out your days with more productive and interesting events? At least they have the Cowboys who are a championship contender to root for when it's football season.

My Mavs girlfriend back up in Carrollton, Marissa, just texted me saying she hopes DJ gets brain cancer. But since when does cancer develop out of thin air? That's what I'm wondering. Need to go back to Denton and make love to her, tbh...

The thing that makes me saddest is that Deandre is not an isolated case. He's a perfect example of a generation of parents -- particularly of athletes-- who don't parent. They serve. They don't teach character or morals. They don't train kids to be respectful and treat others well. They treat them like kings. They do their laundry and buy them cars. In the case of athletes, they treat their kids like investments. They serve them like slaves now and when the kid makes it pro, ma and pa get a house and a car. A retirement account. We have a generation of people who think lying is okay, that "ghosting" (as Deandre did today) is just fine. You don't have to show respect by communicating. You don't have to say please and thank you. That is incredibly rare in this generation and even rarer among professional athletes who were groomed since middle school. Dirk should be the norm, but he's not. He's the knight in shining armor for just being the respectful, normal dude that everyone should be. It's ridiculous and sad and I may have had a few alcoholic beverages.

The Cowboys haven't accomplished in like 20 years, either, tbh...And they're also notoriously a choking team, highly prone to misfortune.

rofl that mavs board. at the first page, they were gloating and posting the south park tears scene, basically being rocketfan. then they turned into lakerfan at the end, saying DJ wasn't that good and they're better off without him

I've hated a lot of team and a lot of players during my time as a fan of professional sports, but nothing compares to the hate I feel for DJ and the Clippers right now.

I would erect a statue of Dwyane Wade in my front yard before I ever say one single nice thing about that assclown or that re ed organization.

It's the "greatest generations" (fault). They were the greatest but they did not take (us/boomers) with them. Instead they initiated the spirally divorce rate which has compounded and led to the decay that you "Preach" about, el.

It was actually a copypasta from that forum, tbh... I thought it was an hilarious reaction to being spurned. I'm 99.9% positive such thoughts never crossed his mind when DJ committed to the Mavs.
