But Kyle Anderson is slow!
Parker Green Leonard Aldridge Duncan
Mills Ginobili Diaw West Marjanovic
McCallum Simmons Anderson Bonner
I think that team might win a few games.![]()
But Kyle Anderson is slow!
Is this roster better on paper than that 2013 Lakers one? Or the 2012 Heat one?
I wouldn't be surprised if they struggle the first month or so before Pop figures out the rotations and the newer players get more acclimated with the mainstays.
Did I miss Bonner resigning?
Yes because the primary group of players all know each other and have a continuity. On top of that solid core we are bringing in an All Star player who seems to get it and a vet who wants to win.
Injury could easily on our plans.
Lets hope for good fortune.
Let's take good fortune by the throat.
best roster of all time? arguably...........
Easily the most talent we've ever surrounded Timmy with.
too old. they will go the ways of the stacked teams of houston rockets, '04 lakers, etc..
No, he's still a free agent
I'm really kinda liking Cady LeLanne in the summer league and the spurs are a bit thin at center I'd like to see him get a contract to the SA spurs even if he spends alot of time with the Spurs in Austin.
Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if it was like the first part of the season after Lebron and Bosh went to Miami - they struggled for a little while before they put it all together.
Yes. With this amount of turnover there is going to be an acclimation period. Starting mid-season I think we are going to be seeing some special (not in the short bus sense) basketball.

Ready to start the season now.![]()
Lets see how they roll.
seriously, if bonner's arm is healthy, and his shot is back, I see no reason not to bring him back. He will be the 6th big on the team. His main job will be to help the 3 newbies learn the system. From a BB IQ, team chemistry, and work ethic point of view, Bonner is ideal for your 6th big.
Hoping for an early home-heavy, cupcake schedule to ease the adjustment period for new recruits..can't afford a Heat type of start in 2011(9-9) in the current Western conference..
That's what I've been saying, although not many people agree with us!![]()
Actually, the FO must be assuming that Tony will finish the season injured. Or at least the odds should be 98% given his last 2 seasons and thi year he will play again for France in September. Given that we have the wisest Front Office, they should be preparing for it. Right now the Spurs' gotta be working closely at least with McCallum.
