What are you, some kind of bigot?
Sincerely,
Blake
I was curious what group thinks of Caitlyn Jenner receiving an award tonight on the ESPN ESPYS. First of all he and or she has not been involved in Sports for 30 to 40 years! He will be awarded for bravery, courage, etc............... I am not against him being a transgender, Who gives a Fu_k! I just don't understand how this relates to Sports. Maybe Pete Rose should be awarded an ESPY when he finally admits to Gambling while playing baseball so many years ago. We should be awarding athletes that have and are making a difference in Sports and this world. People who are born transgender live a life of struggle, shame, and challenges. Mr. and or Ms. Jenner lived a privileged life with the best doctors in the world. Now he is a Media getting liberal attention and launching a new reality show. I hope he gets booed and people walk out on him tonight!
What are you, some kind of bigot?
Sincerely,
Blake
Yeah...it's super courageous what he did. He waited until the PC pendulum swung far enough to the LGBT and decided to come out. Not to mention that he's going to make millions off of the transition and the public broadcasting of the whole thing.
INB4 Blake calls a bunch of you bigots....
You beat me to it
Yeah, he waiting until absolutely no one gives two s. ...so brave
Of course, a small child would still notice the obvious and say "...that's a man". Said child is a bigot.
and he doesn't even know if he's going to cut his wiener off.
and he says he likes women.
But then says he's not a lesbian.
Blake has his DVR set
so brave
so strong
inspired a nation
thank you, Cait
Blake's surgery is Monday

Hmm, just going by the phobic threads started here and the responses to them, it seems to me that a lot of people give at least 2 s.

the Arthur Ashe Courage Award? this is a pretty well know award.
Here are some past winners:
Jim Valvano
Muhammad Ali
Pat Tillman
Tommie Smith & John Carlos
Nelson Mandela
Pat Summit
For the last 2 years, they're giving the award to an LGBT for coming out.
lol lots of dudes caring enough to loudly proclaim they don't care.
Sorry he's ruining your precious and prestigious ESPY show that you hold so sacrosanct.
Lauren Hill deserves the award, plain and simple. But giving Jenner the nod will generate higher tv ratings, more water cooler talk at the office, and more discussion on social media platforms. ESPN is a business, and they made a business decision.
Well you know more than I do.
Since op is wondering out loud what jenner winning it has to do with sports, maybe you can try to explain why Jenner or Nelson Mandela won.
Two people responsible for the Brucette selection explain why (as if we didn't already know).
ESPNs Maura Mandt.
% chance she is and influenced her vote?
An article on how they made the selection here, with the caveat of course of:
Last week they agreed to talk about the process for the first time via phone. On a conference call with them was an ESPN PR representative and Ken Sunshine, a well-known celebrity public relations specialist who is a friend of Mandt’s.

Reminds me of the Simpson ep back in the day when they were good.
Troy McClure trying to make a comeback dates Selma Bouvierr, just using her for a beard after his agent said a part calling for a family mnn was being cast.
Selma: Troy, are you gay?
Troy: I wish! Then I'd have no problem getting parts!
You should start every response you make to anyone with that simple sentence.
Jenner is winning the award because he happens to be a very confused, very rich man who likes to dress like a woman in a time when mental perversions are welcomed and applauded.
Mandela won because of what he did to try to reconcile white and black South Africans through the 1995 Rugby World Cup.
FYI though:
The Arthur Ashe Courage Award (sometimes called the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage or Arthur Ashe for Courage Award) is an award that is part of the ESPY Awards. Although it is a sport-oriented award, it is not limited to sports-related people or actions, as it is presented annually to individuals whose contributions "transcend sports".
Absolutely....
This got speeds from paparazzi and murders innocent people, yet we celebrate his goty cross dressing achievements over Lauren Hills?
Ridicule from media outlets speculating the transition over cancerous parasite eating away at young girls brain? Check. God bless the NEW America!!
