I didn't realize 'til this week that KL was doing so well in SL back in the day. I think he held back a bit too much to start his career. If he had came on sooner, the Spurs may have won that 2013 Finals with relative ease.
In a move that was practical for the Spurs but disappointing for someone who had just hopped off a three-hour flight from Texas, Kawhi Leonard’s summer league ended ahead of Wednesday’s 86-80 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers summer league team.
“I’m the Head Coach of summer league and someone else is the Head Coach of the Spurs,” Jacque Vaughn said after the game about the team’s decision to shut down Leonard. “Maybe my head was getting too big from my 2-0 start.”
The Spurs’ brass sent Vegas standout Kawhi Leonard home for the rest of the week, apparently having seenenough of what he can do against inferior compe ion and likely with a laundry list of things to fine tune before training camp starts. The decision reportedly had nothing to do with a wrist injury Kawhi suffered duringTuesday’s game against the Lakers.

Pop always reigning down on the parade. Kinda like the whole Kawhi never scored over 30 points because Pop always benched him early.

Pretty amazing if the Spurs hadn't made the Hill trade we might have 1 less ring.
