really? Not seeing any major news reporting it.
Carry your CCW's and watch your six people.

1 female dead
Shooter is old white male.
Domestic terrorist is really at an all time high right now in the US.
Reporting shooter either offed himself or shot by someone in theater. Ummm...that should be an easy one to figure out in minutes.
RIP to the victims...
wonder what set him off, tbh, microagressions? maybe he was a baker?
The Grand Theatres are private property. If you fail or refuse to follow this Code of Conduct, you will be asked to leave the theatre, and may be banned from all The Grand Theatres. If you fail or refuse to leave when requested to do so, you will be arrested and prosecuted for criminal trespassing.
OUR THEATRE PROHIBITS
• Outside food or drink
• Smoking including e-cigarettes
• Possession of firearms or weapons of any kind regardless of whether openly orconcealed, with or without a permit
these nuts aren't going to stop targeting gun free zones, time to eliminate them all together and give the citizen a chance.
If anything, this case shows they're extremely lax with that prohibition...
Law abiding citizens abide
I'll put $20 on "crime of passion"...
Prob not so much anymore though after like this keeps happening.
So a private property owner shouldn't have the right to ban guns from the premises? What kind of athoratarian bull is that? You want that law enforced federally?
Not saying they wouldn't. Just saying it's difficult to enforce unless they roll out a metal detector or pat downs... which I doubt will happen.
On the other hand, I understand completely why they would have that prohibition as a business decision.
This is the first year I've started checking my gun and bringing it when traveling on business. Always considered it too much of a hassle but I'm willing to deal with the extra wait time, especially since I travel to LOL Florida so often.
No they have the right. And like I just said the citizen has the right to ignore and risk the consequence if caught. Odds of getting caught are very slim.
Then it's not a lawful citizen anymore.... that's kind of the problem with that...
TSA would like the federal government to force all private property owners to allow guns on their premises.
Why why not let the free market decideyou should open up a theater that allows open carry. People would be flocking to your establishment so they can carry, just in case someone opens fire

He killed himself. Mother ing pussy.
True. But what's more important to you, following a stupid law that puts you at a disadvantage to a criminal wishing to do you harm or your life?
Ffs you are stupid some times.
This is gonna go down the "mental illness" path, then how in the did guy obtained a gun, boutons spamming with gun control "articles", at least 2 references to gun-fellatio, etc...![]()
Oh so he was Muslim
I don't live my life scared of criminals, but that's just me. I understand somebody feeling differently, and I have good friends that feel different about it.
This whole thing basically amounts to the theater not wanting liability for an accidental discharge, etc. Business-wise, it's understandable why they choose to do this.
You can always stay home if you don't feel safe going to these places.
Frankly, between the price of a ticket and a refreshment, I rather watch the movie at home on the big ass HD screen with a couple beers...
What's stupid? You said we should eliminate gun free zones. What did you mean when you said that? Private property owners should allow open/concealed carry? If two movie theater were across the street from each other, same price, both showing train wreck at 7:00 but one allow you to carry. By your logic, the one that allows carrying would outperform the one that didn't, right?
