Spurs shall reign
Western Conf odds:
This is unbelievable, the Spurs are even money to win the Conference. Last year, I got 3-1 odds in preseason to win conference and 6-1 to win it all.
Dallas Mavericks 10-1
Denver Nuggets 12-1
Golden State Warriors 22-1
Houston Rockets 10-1
Los Angeles Clippers 30-1
Los Angeles Lakers 15-1
Memphis Grizzles 25-1
Minnesota Timberwolves 18-1
New Orleans Hornets 100-1
Phoenix Suns 7-2
Portland Trail Blazers 100-1
Sacramento Kings 20-1
San Antonio Spurs 1-1
Seattle Supersonics 20-1
Utah Jazz 50-1
NBA Championship odds:
Spurs' odds went from 3-1 to 5-2. Miami's went from 3-1 to 16-5 in the last month. I guess the off season acquisitions have caused a stir in Vegas.
Atlanta Hawks 500-1
Boston Celtics 60-1
Charlotte BobCats 300-1
Chicago Bulls 50-1
Cleveland Cavaliers 30-1
Dallas Mavericks 20-1
Denver Nuggets 25-1
Detroit Pistons 10-1
Golden State Warriors 60-1
Houston Rockets 20-1
Indiana Pacers 10-1
Los Angeles Clippers 60-1
Los Angeles Lakers 35-1
Memphis Grizzlies 50-1
Miami Heat 16-5
Milwaukee Bucks 100-1
Minnesota T-Wolves 40-1
New Jersey Nets 40-1
New Orleans Hornets 200-1
New York Knicks 100-1
Orlando Magic 100-1
Philadelphia 76ers 60-1
Phoenix Suns 12-1
Portland Blazers 200-1
Sacramento Kings 40-1
San Antonio Spurs 5-2
Seattle Sonics 40-1
Toronto Raptors 100-1
Utah Jazz 60-1
Washington Wizards 60-1
Spurs shall reign
Guess you need to have money to make money if you are a Spurs fan.![]()
Well, since David Stern scripts any and all actions that take place in the NBA he clearly is setting the Heat up as some sort of underdog hero for when he rigs the NBA finals for them. And he's going to Vegas and dropping a bundle on Miami to win it all.
You know something is wrong when an industry as crooked as gambling is putting the Spurs as the favorites while "experts" like our dear friend Stephen A. Smith are picking others to win it all.
I think it might be worth a coulple of hundred to bet on Houston to win Conf at 10-1. Not that I think they are better than SA, but for the return of 10 times your wager, given their talent and the possibility of an upset or injury, it might be worth a shot at 10-1.
You could bet $400 on SA and $100 on Houston. If SA wins, you get the $400 and that offsets the $100 you dropped of taking a chance on the dog. I feel Houston has the best shot at beating SA of all the Western contenders.
SA at 5-2 to win it all is a good bet as well, because there is no Eastern team that can beat a Spurs team that wins the West, because obviously, SA would be healthy and playing well if they get out of the West.
I would wager $200 on SA to win it all, which would pay $500.
So you would win $400 and $500 on SA and only lose the $100 that you put on Houston.
If Houston upsets SA, you lose the $400, you bet on SA and win the $1000, for a net gain of $600.
They were the favs last year too, and they won it all.
That blows your theory out of the water.

Jim you should know that conspiracy theories don't need proof to be true. I can't prove that moon landings were faked, that Area 51 houses the frozen head of Uwe Blobb, or that Ray Allen has a vagina, but that doesn't mean that I don't believe.
THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE...
ah yes, you have a point.

Houston beat San Antonio pretty good during the regular season but come playoff time?? Come on be serious...the Spurs would not lose to the rockets in a series...the only Western Conference team i see that has potential is still the Nuggets, they have a better team than the Rockets. Every other West Team will suck badly..
Read what I wrote.
Oh yeah thats a good bet lol my bad
ha ha hah a Uwe Blobb.....ha hahah a ha i have his card
I would think Jim will be betting on Indy at 10-1, if he bets anything. What are the odds on the Pacers to win the East?
cmon Spurs fans, get his name right at least: Uwe Blab!![]()
Indy has no shot at beating SA.
On paper, perhaps. SA has to get there, though.
1-1??????????
I'll put my life savings on that one!!!
Wait...
Those are some good odds in our favor jajajaja?
