It's time we stopped the partisan games and got real....the Lakers with a healthy Nick Young and Kobe Bryant along with an upgraded roster at all positions will make the playoffs as Kobe said.
Last year we win 21 games with Kobe and Nick Young going down and purposely tanking on top of that....now with a new squad and if we are healthy going into the final stretch we could possibly get high as 6th seed if another play off team faces the injury bug...
For now though the Mavs are out along with Portland....there is a reshuffling as follows...
1. GSW
2. CLIPPERS
3. Grizzlies
4. Spurs
5. Rockets
6. OKC
7. Lakers (could go high as 6)
8. *Pelicans
* 9. Mavericks will battle Pelicans all season for final spot.

Don't be angry. You're team is in the middle of a slow-rebuild. They suck right now. They don't have any all-star caliber talent and no one on the roster is even been very good at this point. Once you start to accept it, you'll feel ok as the season goes along.

Pelicans had as many injuries as any team in the league and made the playoffs and no Kobe won't have have much of an impact this season. And the rest of the talent is meh....

So what's widely considered? Again WCF... I'm taking a healthy Kobe over a young Davis....sure Davis is young, can run, jump, defend and monkey ball..his issue is he cant win....he cant close...A. Davis is proven as a player but unproven as a winner...Pelicans vs. Lakers give me Kobe over the youngster..now if you ask me who I'd build around NOW..thats a different question....however, A.Davis hasnt won ....and never will...he's not tough...
