I was born in '94, so got to see post-injury David. Later, I watched some of the flashbacks, he was very good but relied on jumpers too much. Still better than Dwert Coward and any other center in the league today.

A great read from the guys at poundingtherock.com and props for some video flashbacks of the great man. One of the best and most noble of men on and off the court. No doubt one of the greatest players and person the NBA has and ever will witness. You could ramble on forever about how much of a freak this man was on the court, just read, watch and enjoy. Can you imagine the carnage a prime 5-0 would inflict on this league these days. Damn. Happy 50th Big Fella! All the best.
