I read that on some collage campus that guys are carrying consent form for the woman
to sign before they will have sex. They feel that they are being set up by radical
women groups who blame all guys for getting women drunk then wake up the next
morning and claim they didn't agree to have sex.

It's not totally unnecessary. If you have common sense you don't do these things but to some people, it might ring bells.
For example if someone tells a drug addict to not do drugs and reminds them constantly what they could be losing, he may slow down abit as oppose to being unchecked.

The message in the PSA is that there is no grey area in consent. The instigator in sex does not get presumption. While you guys like to play like that is obviously understood, you can look at a bevy of recent sex assault cases that indicate it is not the case.

This bevy of recent sex assault cases is BECAUSE women are told that it's not about saying "no", it's about "never having said yes." It's phony rape. Regret the morning after or "feeling like you were pressured" doesn't give a woman the right to ruin a guy's life.

It's not "logic," it's conventional wisdom that actually contradicts science. Anti-drug and anti-smoking PSAs make the wrongful assumption of ignorance on the part of smokers and drug addicts. In reality, they know that what they're doing is harmful and unhealthy, but through repe ion of the behavior, they've trained their brain to create and strengthen neural pathways that drive them to keep doing it anyway. Bombarding them with commercials about how drugs and cigs are bad isn't telling them something they don't already know and doesn't solve the actual behavioral issue.

I'm not sure if scientists have done any research on this effect with criminals, but I wouldn't be surprised if this logic also applies to serial rapists, mass murderers, etc.
