I feel like the 21 age limit has a lot to do w/ it since every American (esp white dudes) under 35 are constantly bringing up beer in every conversation. I grew up in a country where there was no age limit so I treat beer just like soda & is just another beverage to me (I don't care much for soda or beer). When I moved to the states for college it seemed like everyone I met was talking about beer as if it was a magic potion from outer-space & I'm looking at them like "Meh, why are you acting so brand new?"
Nowadays craft beer is the craze & everyone can't stop mentioning which bar they went to over the weekend for some craft beer...blah, blah, blah. Then you have the Asian folks who can't stop talking about the same food/restaurant that I didn't think were worth glorifying. I enjoy eating certain foods & drinking certain beverages but it's not something I get excited over whatsoever......Am I missing something b/c I feel like I'm an alien at times since I'm the only one that doesn't care much about food/drinks?

Why are Americans obsessed w/ dating? The most macho dude turns into a when it comes to dating I just don't understand it. From where I'm from it's the effeminate dudes that even discuss dating the rest of us are chased by women if we have our shyt together, we don't chase women.
